Originally from Mechanicsville, Virginia, McKinley is an accomplished graduate of Coastal Carolina University graduating with a Bachelors of Kinesiology cum laude. McKinley brings over eight years of competitive volleyball experience and a strong passion for the game to her role as a coach. As a former player, she led her high school team to a Class 5 regional championship and competed in six club seasons, gaining a deep understanding of high-level competition and teamwork. She continued her volleyball journey at Coastal Carolina University as a member and coach of the Women’s Club Volleyball team, where she honed her skills and developed a strong leadership presence on and off the court. 

She continued to develop her coaching skills at Richmond Volleyball Club, where she has assisted state-level teams and led clinics to help players enhance their technique and game sense. McKinley’s coaching style focuses on developing both technical skills and personal growth, fostering a supportive and motivating environment. She is dedicated to helping athletes reach their full potential by teaching discipline, resilience, and teamwork. With her extensive experience and genuine passion for the sport, McKinley is committed to inspiring players to love the game while achieving their goals on and off the court.
