Playing club volleyball offers athletes far more than just an opportunity to compete, it builds the foundation for success both on and off the court. At T4VBC, we provide multiple team levels to match each athlete’s skills and commitment: Elite, Premier, State & Local. Team placement is based on tryout performance, with fees varying depending on practice schedules, agility and positional training, coaching staff, uniform packages, and the number and location of tournaments and qualifiers. Team availability may change each year based on the talent and depth at each age group. Our coaching staff is committed to building strong, well-rounded teams by evaluating more than just volleyball skills. While experience and technical ability are important, our coaches also place a strong emphasis on qualities like competitiveness, motivation, work ethic, attitude, and, most importantly, coachability. Coaches determine how much weight to give each factor during tryouts. Players are evaluated holistically to ensure each team is not only skilled but cohesive and coachable. One of the clearest signs of potential in a player is the ability to listen to feedback, try new techniques, and make adjustments. To support the evaluation process, all participants will receive a numbered tryout t-shirt for easy identification. Please Note: During tryouts, athletes will be asked to indicate the team levels they are willing and able to commit to. We encourage families to review our team expectations ahead of time to make informed decisions and ensure the best fit for each player’s development journey.
