Jahquan Bloomfield

Coach Bloomfield is a former collegiate wide receiver and 2024 CFL Draft pick, recognized for his explosive athleticism, versatility, and leadership both on and off the field. Throughout his college football career, he was a key contributor on offense and special teams—known for his big-play ability and consistent impact in high-pressure moments. His speed and agility made him a dangerous deep threat in the passing game, while his physicality and dedication were valuable assets on special teams.

Originally from Ottawa, Ontario, Bloomfield was a two-year starter at Seven Lakes High School in Texas and a standout in track and field, winning a state title in the 4x100 relay during his senior year. He continued his athletic and academic journey at the University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM), earning a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Sports Management. He later completed a Master of Science in Education with a focus in Special Education from Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU).

Currently, Coach Bloomfield works as a Special Education teacher at the middle school level in Cy-Fair ISD. Since wrapping up his playing career, he has spent the last two years training youth athletes. His coaching philosophy centers on developing fundamentals, building speed and agility, and instilling a strong work ethic.
