Kristina Hopkins

Kristina Hopkins has been passionately coaching volleyball since 2006. She began her coaching career at Westbury Christian School, where she led both middle school and high school junior varsity teams while also serving as an assistant coach for the varsity squad. Kristina later continued her journey at St. Francis Episcopal School, guiding 7th-grade athletes and further honing her coaching skills.
In 2008, Kristina entered the club volleyball scene with Fort Bend Fire, where she coached 14s, and later transitioned to Texas One, working with both 13s and 18s teams. After taking a two-season break to complete her education, she returned to the court as the freshman coach at St. Pius X High School and began coaching club with Upward Stars, now known as Houston Stars.
At Houston Stars, Kristina made a significant impact, head coaching girls’ teams ages 12-14 for three seasons and boys’ teams ages 10-18 for five seasons. Her dedication to developing athletes led her to the British International School of Houston, where she spent two years coaching JV and varsity girls as well as varsity boys.
Most recently, Kristina took a season off to focus on supporting her son, who plays elite boys volleyball with HVA’s top 16s team, and to officiate volleyball tournaments across the country. Now, with renewed energy and excitement, she is thrilled to return to the sidelines and continue coaching the game she loves.
